If you think that the world is unfair, if you are angry, if you want a way out ..... As we grow up, we listen to our parents, then to our teachers, then to our peers, boss, friends, internet, books, etc. In due process, we developed our priorities, our yardstick for measuring right and wrong, good and bad, like and dislike. Based on these knowledges we march into the society to live and to adjust.

Some of us were lucky, most of us were not. The values and priorities we hold dearly are consistently bombarded, ignored, unappreciated by others. We became unhappy. Sometimes angry, or even abuse ourselves a little. What is going on? Is this the way life should be?

The keyword to address this issue is "partial". Because all of us grew up from different parental values, different schools, even different culture, no one thinks exactly the same.

Meditation helps us to calm down our own mind, so that we can read the mind of others. So that instead of insisting on what we want, we can understand why we can't have it. Instead of being firm in our believes, we learn how limited our knowledge base really is.

Once we recognize that our decision making are really based on partial facts, then we can be liberated from the control of our mind. We become its master instead. Once we are awakened to the limited of our mental process, then we are truly ready to begin practicing Chan.

Traumatic Sufferers

Then there are many of us who suffered from unjustified traumatic events, such as rape, abuse, etc. How do we deal with all the pain, memory and guilt?

In our school, these are considered as spiritual karmic influence from previous lives. That is why some of us were born in Ethiopia and suffering from hungry, ecoli or massacre.

In our school, we have over 60 meditation centers with tens and thousands of practioners. Many of our practitioners have suffered through traumatic events. Yet many have recovered and be reconnected to their Inner Self again.

Our Master said, "Chan practices begins after awakening."

The mental awakening is relatively easy to understood, though harder to practice. The real challenge for some of us lies in the reduction in the craving for alcohol, drugs, sex and the reduction of pain caused by truly traumatic events. For most of us, we know darn well that we better distant ourselves from these bad dreams. Yet, we just having difficulty to execute it.

For the last twenty years, our program has successfully helped people in the Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers in Taiwan and many jails.

It is a complete program from the First Chinese Chan Patriarch, Boddhidharma. It includes both Motion Chan and Sitting Chan. It will clean out our body, enhance our self-awareness, so that our body and mind can be connected better. Our physical discomfort will reduce. Our bad memories will subside. Our relationship will improve. Our temperatment will change. Our attachments will be reduced. Slowly, our daily lives become happier. Gradually our spirit will shine through.

For traumatic suffers, a dedicated daily program is required. This program includes 10 minutes of each Motion Chan exercise until you sweat. Take a shower. Then follows with 30 minutes of Sitting Chan. Practice daily same time same place for 3 months. Most of the practitioners shall witness progress.

Just give it a try. You practice and you shall witness.
