"Heart Chan is a realm beyond academics, science and religion. Yet, it can be studied as knowledge; experimented as science; and can be discussed as philosophy, analyzed as psychology. It can also be treated as a faith or religion. It helps us understand the biology of human bodies in order to maintain excellent health and thus prolong longevity.
Further more, Heart Chan enables us to surpass our psychological obstacles, cultivate our innate life force and wisdom, and eventually uncover true self within.
Through the process of meditation and practice, we break through barriers, witnesses celestial light, encounters freedom in the universe. We observe the truth of Buddha Land or the Heavenly Kingdom, and observe the super power from celestial realm that transforms into honorable qualities, into light from darkness, into tranquility from violence, into peace from wars. This is what life is meant to be. "
Chan Master Wu Jue Miao Tian
85th Patriarch since Shakymuni Buddha 58th Patriarch since BodhiDharma 48th Patriarch of LingJi School
Heart Chan practice emcompasses the following four dimensions:
- The first dimension is the material dimension of our biological existence.
- The second dimension is dimension of our consciousness, or our mind.
- The third dimension is that of our sub-consciousness.
- The fourth dimension is that of our spirit.
Through the practice of Heart Chan, we can obtain power from the universe. Our body, mind, and spirit can be refined. Not only our life would become more joyful and wonderful, we would also be able to live with more energy, with broader vision and accomplish a more fulfilling life.
