Thanksgiving Half-Day Virtual Retreat

Join Us for a Thanksgiving Half Day “Virtual” Meditation Retreat by Heart Chan on November 29, 2020 (Sunday), 11am-3pm Pacific Time (US and Canada) (GMT -7)

Thanksgiving provides a good opportunity for contemplation and self reflection on the challenges we have faced and blessings and support we have received in this unique year of 2020. We remind ourselves not to take things for granted and to appreciate and express gratitude.

Heart Chan cordially invites you to join us for a virtual half-day meditation retreat this Thanksgiving Sunday. Whether you are an experienced meditation practitioner who seeks deeper insights, or a beginner interested in exploring meditation, we welcome you all. There will be three (3) consecutive meditation sessions, each for 50 minutes with a 10-minute silent break, followed by a session for Q/A and sharing at the end. Instructions on basic meditation will be provided during the first session.

Schedule (in PST):
11:00-11:50 am. First sitting
12:00-12:50 pm. Second sitting
13:00-13:50 pm. Third sitting
14:00-15:00 pm. Q/A and sharing

If you plan to participate in the retreat:

* Please find a quiet and undisturbed location, and be prepared to disconnect from your family/housemates or from anyone by phones or internet. Everyone is expected to remain silent throughout the retreat until Q/A and sharing.
* We recommend you to turn on your camera during the retreat, which offers a closer experience as if we were actually sitting in a meditation room together. We encourage you to participate throughout the entire retreat to gain maximum benefits.

No registration is required. Anyone from anywhere in the world is welcome to connect by joining the ZOOM meeting (Meeting ID: 890 8106 9136. Passcode: heartchan)
